This week I received the news that one of my photos was selected among the top 50 of the Sony World Photography Awards 2011 in the Panoramic category. According to World Photography Organization my photo was one of the 50 finalists among more than 51,000 and will appear in the 2011 Sony World Photography Awards Winner’s Book

Tokyo panoramic view

The photo is a panoramic view of Tokyo taken from the Tokyo Tower during a trip I made in early 2010. The HDR effect allowed me to add tension to that overwhelming urban landscape.
